IndiGo shares in focus after airline appoints former British Airways chief William Walsh as new CEO
InterGlobe Aviation, parent of IndiGo, appointed William Walsh as its new CEO, effective August 3. Walsh, currently IATA's Director General, brings extensive global aviation leadership experience, having previously led Aer Lingus, British Airways, and IAG. His appointment follows a period of operational disruption and comes as the airline navigates rising costs.
